Junior
He's a dreamboat! I changed his named to Juno...he follows me everywhere and as soon as I sit down he puts his paws up on my thigh for me to pick him up. We've been playing "chase the bone" game (loves the nylabone) and has become good buddies with my other 2 pommies.
Love him big time!! Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sheree
Stubby
Stubby is doing fantastically. He is such a good dog. We are getting used to his schedules and after a couple of pee-pee accidents I think we have it down pat. He seems very happy with the family and is certainly getting a lot of attention. Shall send pics if I can.
Thank you for allowing us to have such a wonderful friend for the family.
Terri
Gerdy
t has been 3 mo. shy of THREE years since Kennedy and I adopted "Gertie"...name changed to "Cardie" (short for CARDEA, which is greek for "protector of the home")
I can't even begin to tell you all of the blessings of this dog! She has become the shop dog and has a raving fan club that'll come in to just visit with her as they often speak of their "puppy" withdrawals.
Everytime I am reminded of the love that this dog has brought out, I mean to thank you for what it is that you do! You have made so many of us very happy by rescuing THIS one in particular.
She turned out to be so beautiful, with a gifted spirit. Yes, I also get offerred alot of money for her often! HA Thanks again and I do hope that you are well!

Zoe
just wanted to let you know that Zoà« came home with me yesterday. She is such a sweet girl! She rides well in the car, except that she would really like to sit in the front seat. I'm going to get a car harness for her next week and see how that works out.
She is interested in the kitties, but not overly interested. They have all come out to meet her. Its been pretty funny.
She loves her bed, found the cat toys, ignores her toys, and is my shadow. She slept all night in her crate without any problems or accidents, so the kitties had the run of the house. She did not eat her bed, or any of my furniture. Yet.
Today we will stay home so we have some time to get to know each other and she can get used to the house and the yard.
Tomorrow we start obedience classes. She already knows her basic commands and is eager to please so I expect everything to go well!
I think we are a good match for each other!

Zeus
I'm afraid I am well on my way to being one of those folks that "bores eveyone to death talking about my dog!" We are up at Tahoe for a few days. I had arranged for a housesitter to take care of the animals. I went to the doctor in Thurs day for a toe that was bothering my expecting to get some medicine or something. Instead I had minor surgery that is preventing me from skiing. (Bummer!) My loss was Zeus's gain because at the last minute we decide to bring him with us to keep me company at the cabin. We are having a blast!!
He was so funny when we got out of the car on Sat night. He obviously had to go badly but was very confused as to actually "where". He whimpered and kept looking around at me as if to say, "You expect me to go here? Where is my grass?"
Speaking of "potty behavior" Zeus seems to have unusual pooping behaviour. He squats and poops a little, then moves forward a foot or so and poops a little bit again. He does this a few times leaving a "trail" of little poops. He doesn't seem to "finish the bowel movement" because about 15 minutes after we come in he needs to go outside and repeat the behavior again at which point he is done until the evening. (His poops appear normal.) Did Jason ever notice this behavior before or is this new (perhaps some transition behavior??)
The kids decided to stay at home and play in the snow yesterday and they all had fun with Zeus cavorting around. I must say that he is the most delightful puppy I have ever known!! We came so close to adopting a "teenager" GS in our area that had other families in front of us. We were so dissipointed that got adopted before we had a chance to meet him. I kept singing the old Doris Day song to my kids, "Que sera, sera, whatever will be will be!" Zeus was just meant to be for us!!
Thanks again for all your hard work!!
Gratefully and happily,
Margaret
